Thai massage incorporates whole-body movements, many of which are yoga-like. For that reason, many people report leaving Thai massage sessions feeling not only relaxed but also rejuvenated.

Anya Brilts started as a body practitioner in Moscow, Russia, in 2016. She also worked in Poland before moving to the US and going through the Ashland Institute of Massage in 2024 to get licensed in Oregon.

She has a psychology degree and multiple years of experience as a life coach and somatic practitioner. Anya believes in the power of a holistic approach and combines different modalities in her practice, including:

Holistic Japanese Kobido massage: Japanese treatment for the face, hands, and feet

Abdominal and scar tissue massage

Mexican Rebozo (shawl) massage: Traditional Mexican technique using a long woven shawl, often with pregnant women

According to Anya’s experience, when both therapist and practitioner share a mutual intention to change and heal, it creates a synergistic force that leads to a more powerful therapeutic effect.

Jordan Farah incorporates a collection of skill sets and areas of knowledge including advanced myofascial release and neuromuscular therapy. His work is deep, transformative, and intuitive. With his clients, Jordan helps pinpoint areas of concern regarding body mechanics and postural adaptations and works with them to set achievable goals. Other specialties include Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM or Gua Sha), cupping, trigger point therapy, and Shiatsu.

Jordan graduated from the Oregon School of Massage in Portland and began practicing therapeutic massage in 2018. As a second-generation massage therapist, holistic health, nutrition, and massage therapy have been integrated throughout his entire life.

Jordan has a strong desire to continue learning. He has been drawn to explore how the body maintains mobility and function and understanding dysfunctional patterns. His unique style of bodywork may be attributed in part to his background and interest in construction and engineering. Megan Greene believes in the body’s ability to heal itself and works with her clients to facilitate positive change. She supports her clients in returning to alignment and pain-free function with her efficient skill sets in deep tissue massage and neuromuscular therapies. Megan listens to her client’s needs and actively supports her clients in achieving their goals.

Megan Greene became a massage therapist in 2011 and has studied massage and bodywork in various schools both in California and Oregon. She has an intuitive, relaxing, and therapeutic style which decreases stress, releases tension, relieves pain, and supports the recovery from injury. As a certified doula, yoga teacher, and experienced social worker, Megan brings a passion for supporting the holistic well-being of her community by working with individuals on their path to health and betterment. Mali Jarvis has been a practicing bodyworker since 2004. She received her initial training at the Oregon School of Massage in Portland focussing on Shiatsu and Eastern Medicine. She then continued with intensive training in Thai Massage and Chi Nei Tsang in Chiang Mai, Thailand. She has been immensely influenced by ancient Asian healing and spiritual traditions like Taoism and Soto Zen and more contemporary movement arts practices such as Contact Improvisation, Body-Mind Centering, and Feldenkrais.

In 2012 Mali completed a 750-hour holistic health coaching program at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. In 2018-2020 she completed a two-year residency at Upaya Zen Center in Santa Fe, NM, living in community, running a vegetarian temple-style kitchen, and studying and practicing Zen Buddhism. She is currently training with The Milne Institute in Visionary Craniosacral Work, and Nonviolent Communication facilitation and mediation.

Her intention in all she does is to create an invitation to slow down and reconnect with one’s deep inner rhythms and natural vitality.

Laura Mata graduated from The Hawaiian Islands School of Massage in Kealakekua Bay with 800 hours of Medical Massage training. Her training included extensive coursework in human anatomy, physiology, pathology and kinesiology. She has been a licensed practicing massage therapist since 2007. In 2012 she completed 500 hour Tantra Yoga Teacher training certification. She is an initiated practitioner in Kalari martial arts and holds a BA in Dance Ethnology. She had the cherished opportunity to study traditional Hawaiian teachings and hula on Kaua’i for 7 years. Two decades of somatic awareness and movement are brought to her keen intuition and highly developed understanding of the body and its bio intelligence.

She believes in the innate power of the body to heal and transform itself. Fern McEwen graduated from the Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy in December of 2022 where she received top marks in Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Thai Massage, and Shiatsu. She is currently completing a Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science at Southern Oregon University. Fern is fascinated by the human body, the patterns that lead to imbalance, and developing holistic multifaceted approaches to restore balance. She has plans to continue her education by obtaining a physical therapy license.

Fern is dedicated to providing high-quality, intentional bodywork to help her clients with their pain and leave with a plan for relief. In each session, Fern will work with her clients to explore and unravel the mystery of where imbalance may have come from, as well as to facilitate ease and promote healing.

Travis Skrine attended the Pacific Center for Bodywork and Awareness in Kauai, where he had the privilege of studying with Lee Joseph, a pioneer in the field of myofascial release and somatic bodywork. The foundation of Travis’ work is based on Structural Integration; specifically, in changing fascia through a ten-series of non-symptom-specific treatments of the entire body. The results he has with his clients inspire his work and motivate him in his pursuit to continue this career in helping people.

Sherice Snee is an orthopedic and sports massage therapist with specialties in neuromuscular work that includes myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and muscle energy techniques. Other tools she works with include craniosacral therapy and she is a Reiki Master.

She has a passion for bodywork; after experiencing multiple motor vehicle accidents, she got busy healing herself. Frustrated that she could not find the therapist she needed to holistically aid in healing and compliment the muscular-skeletal work she was receiving from her chiropractor, she decided to become a massage therapist and help those who need assistance in their healing process or to just feel good in their skin.

She studied orthopedic and sport massage therapies at the Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy. She became Kinesiology tape certified and has continued studying neuromuscular therapy; in particular, she has a strong interest in trigger point therapy.

Hayley Taylor has a versatile approach that incorporates clinical assessment with an integrative application. She is well-versed in deep-tissue techniques, myofascial release, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, cupping, and Thai massage. Her focus on fluidity and mobilization in the body aid in tension release of the mind and spirit. Hayley’s goal in communication with clients is to co-discover what works best to help her clients reach their goals.

Hayley was originally licensed in Ohio and has been licensed in Oregon since October 2022. She has been practicing in a variety of settings for the past 5 years, including clinical settings and chiropractic offices. James Teepe is trained in Structural Integration, a modality based on the teachings of Dr. Ida Rolf. With deep knowledge of anatomy, function, and movement therapy, James strives to work in partnership with people who would like more balance, ease, and freedom in their relation to gravity and themselves. Working as deeply as the client likes, he works to break up adhesions, shift aberrant patterns, and help to restore a more cohesive flow to the physical form. He has studied exercise therapy and rehab as well as learning the relationship between the muscles, bones, and movement.

In addition to being a licensed massage therapist, James is a clinical herbalist and a holistic health student who lives on a 20-acre homestead with his wife and daughters. He approaches bodywork with experience and skill balanced with a grounded, earth-based awareness. James looks forward to supporting clients of Siskiyou Massage to attain their goals and move with greater freedom.
